Groups

Sort kids by room, age, or team. Groups set which point values kids practice and get their own priority rules.

Every family joins through the same invite. Kids land in Kids not in a group yet on the Overview. Groups are how you organize them after.

Make a group

  1. Open your program and tap the Groups tab.
  2. Type a name, like "K–2 Little Lambs" or "Red Team."
  3. Under Practices, check the point values this group works on. Leave all three checked for older kids.
  4. Tap Add group.

Put kids in groups

  1. Scroll to Every kid.
  2. In a kid's row, check each group they belong to.
  3. Tap Save in that row.

A kid can be in more than one group, like an age group and a competition team. The table also shows each kid's grade and parent.

What a group controls

  • Point values. Kids practice only the point values their groups allow. If a kid is in a group that allows all values, they practice all values.
  • Priority questions. Each group has its own weekly rules. See Priority questions.
  • Check-off. The check-off screen can show one group at a time. See Practice night check-off.

Delete a group

Tap Delete on the group's card. The kids stay in the program. They just leave that group.
